Wait what? It's about to be March! Wait... no I'm not ready that means my birthday is in three weeks and I haven't even prepared yet! I really to get this whole #Adultlife thing in order! I apologize for my absence and hope that you understand it was not in my power to control the things going on in life, but everything happens for a reason and I am glad for what happened and will Indulge you in that at a later time.
This month is all about being faithful! It is easy to say you have faith in something, but it is more for when you actually show that you have faith! So here we go! Week one of March VOTW WOW!
This scripture at one point in my life (when I was single and not in committed relationship) used to make me upset I mean very upset. I was the type of independent one that didn’t need to lean on a man or let him be the leader because I made my own money, had my own place and took care of myself. I was not read to let a man take over…. Fast forward 3 years, I am happily married woman to a great man who I have no problem let leading our household in the right direction. I need to realize and also inform my wonderful hubby that YES! He is supposed to be the head of the household and lead us in the direction that GOD sees fit, but that I will always be that strong headed, sometimes stubborn, always asking questions type of woman. Although I do it with the utmost respect, when I do ask him any questions that may concern me I remember how blessed I truly am.
Nowadays (sad but true) young women of my generation are becoming less of what the bible aka God ask of us to be and more of what the world wants us to be and that is all wrong. I encourage the women that came before me to never give up hope. Share with the young women of my generation and after that yes it is okay to have question and want to know things going on in your own household with your significant other, but that you must have respect to receive respect and that goes both ways with men AND women!
I would love for you to share your thoughts with me!
